Brandon's Best Bets: Week 11

We had another great week going 4-1 with our only loss being the Titans upset of the Patriots, and honestly can we even consider a Patriots L a loss for us? We look to keep the good times rolling this week with some road favorites.

Houston Texans (-3) at Washington Redskins

The Redskins offensive line is just completely decimated by injuries. That was this team’s sole strength on offense as they used an old school power running approach the first half of the season. With all the injuries though you have to think Watt and company are going to feast on Alex Smith and stifle this offense until Watson and his many weapons take over. That we are only having to surrender 3 points in this matchup is criminal. If you only have money for one bet, bet this one.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-6) at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Steelers might have the best o-line in football and the Jags have struggled to get pressure on the QB like they did all last season. Sacksonville is officially done. The Jaguars offense is simple and won’t be able to keep up with the Steelers. I expect this one to be over by the 2nd half.

Carolina Panthers (-4.5) at Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions can’t stop the run, even after acquiring Damon Harrison. That spells doom against this Panthers team that loves to run the ball and operates more like a college offense than a pro one. The Lions linebackers will be stressed until they break and I expect the Panthers to pour all their frustration from the Steelers out on this game.
