Brandon Turner's Best Bets Week 2

We got off to a rough start last week at 1-2. We didn’t expect Rex to try and get himself fired mid-season or for the Bengals to win AND screw us on the points. Unfortunately if you had bet 100$ on every game you’d be down about 120$. We’re gonna back bounce this week though and get into the green with 3 of this week’s games. All bets made using Bovada.

New York Giants (-4 ½) vs. New Orleans Saints

If you take away the 3 points given to the Giants for being home, they are coming into this game as 1 point favorites. That’s 1 point despite beating the Saints last year in a shoot-out. Despite having an improved defense. Despite the Saints underrated shutdown corner Delvin Breaux being out with a broken foot. Who’s going to cover Odell? Take the Giants here.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+3) at San Diego Chargers

The Chargers offense looked lost when Keenan Allen went down with an ACL injury (again) last week. Meanwhile the Jaguars are still missing their expensive RB Chris Ivory for an illness that rumors say could be nasty. Still I think Bortles is going to have much more weapons at his disposal here than Rivers and getting a free field goal to start helps.

Green Bay Packers (-3) at Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings history of limiting Aaron Rodgers and the energy they will have from playing their first game in a brand new stadium is why this line is so low. Still this is Aaron Rodgers vs a Vikings team that isn’t sure who it’s QB is. This is Aaron RODGERS -3 vs Sam Bradford off of one week of practice with a so-so offense. Don’t overthink this.
